Charitable activities of Transneft East receive commemorative badge and Bratsk District Mayor’s award

Transneft East has received an award from Bratsk District Mayor and a commemorative badge from the Governor of Irkutsk Region for its charitable and social activities in Bratsk District.

Aleksandr Puzikov, Director of Transneft East, received the badge and a letter of appreciation.

Starting from 2015, the Company has allocated more than RUB 15 million to implement social projects in Bratsk District. The implemented projects include purchasing new school buses and equipment to hold the USE (Unified State Exam), outfitting a sewing professional skill class at a school in Vikhorevka, purchasing construction sets for robotics lessons at schools of Koblyakovo and Kezhma settlements repairing classrooms.

Earlier, Aleksey Balovnev, the mayor of the district, emphasised the significance of the district’s social and economic partnership with Transneft East in his investment address and thanked the Company for a number of important projects accomplished.

In 2018, Transneft East will finance a number of projects in Bratsk District, such as installation of an outdoor sports ground in the city of Vikhorevka, repairing and outfitting a robotics classroom at Berezka nursery school and creating a sensory room at Skazka nursery school.

Transneft East gives large-scale social support to people in all regions of its operations. Financial aid is given to schools, nursery schools, hospitals, non-governmental, sports and veterans’ organisations in Irkutsk Region, Amur Region, Krasnoyarsk Territory and Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). Transneft East’s charitable donations have exceeded RUB 800 million since 2008, when the Company started operating.
