Employees of Transneft East have arranged a New Year’s volunteer campaign at the Rostok disabled children’s home in Bratsk.
As part of the “Winter Has Come, It's Time to Ski, Kids!” campaign employees of the Company have bought children sports equipment: ski, ice skates, hockey sticks and sledges.
The gifts were presented during an opening ceremony of the New Year tree at the territory of this social institution. The grateful children organised a New Year's performance for the guests together with their teachers.
Currently, 153 children live in the institution.
“Such volunteer campaigns provide our students with an additional opportunity to develop their communication skills. In addition, their cultural environment is expanding, and thus the degree of social adaptation increases,” said Nadezhda Karnaukhova, the director of the social institution.
