An official transfer of equipment and specialty vehicles for the needs of municipal districts has taken place at Neryungri PS-19 of Transneft East (Neryungrinsky District of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)).
The event was attended by Aisen Nikolayev, head of the Republic of Sakha, as well as heads of Tattinsky District, Kindigirsky Municipal Formation of Olekminsky District and heads of Neryungrinsky District’s administration.
The specialty vehicles were purchased by Transneft East as part of a charitable programme implemented by the Transneft subsidiary in areas of its operational activities. The Company allocated more than 12.5 million roubles for these purposes.
The purchased vehicles include a food tank truck, a UAZ vehicle, a DT-75 tractor, a tractor with a drilling rig as well as boats and boat motors. The vehicles will be used for emergency recovery work during scouring periods as well as during preparation for the winter season.
There are more than twenty operational facilities of Transneft East in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), including oil pumping stations, central maintenance divisions and production support bases. In total, more than 2.4 thousand people work at the Company’s business units located in the republic.
Transneft and Transneft East have been regularly providing charitable support to the republic’s schools, hospitals, nursery schools, veterans’ and sports organisations since 2006. As of today, the total amount of funds allocated has exceeded 100 million roubles.
Transneft East (a Transneft subsidiary) operates phase I of the Eastern Siberia – Pacific Ocean oil trunk pipeline (ESPO-1). 1,450 km of the pipeline pass through the territory of the Republic of Sakha. The Company’s operational facilities include: Lensk and Neryungri Regional Oil Pipeline Directorates, oil pumping stations Nos. 10, 11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19, Talakan, Olekminsk and Neryungri central maintenance divisions, Neryungri production support base, Talakan and Neryungri Utility Vehicles and Special-Purpose Machinery Shops.
