Transneft East Completes Scheduled Repairs at Omsk — Irkutsk, Krasnoyarsk — Irkutsk and Eastern Siberia — Pacific Ocean Oil Trunk Pipelines

Transneft East has completed scheduled repairs at the Omsk — Irkutsk, Krasnoyarsk — Irkutsk oil trunk pipelines (OTPs) in the area of responsibility of Irkutsk Regional Oil Pipeline Directorate, and the Eastern Siberia — Pacific Ocean (ESPO-I) OTP’s sections under Lensk and Neryungri Regional Oil Pipeline Directorates.

The scheduled repairs were performed by Nizhneudinsk, Angarsk, Bratsk, Talakan, Olyokminsk and Neryungri Central Maintenance Divisions (CMDs). Defects detected after in-line inspection were eliminated by replacing the corresponding sections.

The scheduled repairs were carried out around the clock for 66 hours in accordance with the annual plan of oil trunk pipelines shutdowns. In total, the repairs were carried out at 10 sections, with the involvement of more than 280 people and more than 70 units of specialty vehicles.

The purpose of the scheduled repairs is to ensure uninterrupted oil supply via Transneft East oil pipelines which are located in Irkutsk Region and the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The works were completed to the full extent and on time. Oil transportation to Angarsk oil loading section in Meget village of Irkutsk Region and via the Tayshet — Skovorodino process section resumed on schedule.
