The project was implemented as part of a charitable support programme in the regions of its operations. Sewing and knitting machines, special furniture and equipment for cooking, a set of multimedia equipment were purchased with the funds provided.
As part of the innovative educational programmes implemented by the school, an electric potter’s wheel was purchased.
“We have the opportunity to teach arts and crafts in mixed groups thanks to the new equipment, starting from second grade. The pottery equipment also opens up new possibilities. Thus, we teach children to work with their hands, open the opportunity for future choice of profession,” the director of the educational institution Oksana Yefimova said.
Transneft East actively supports educational projects in schools and institutions of further education in the regions of its operation. In October, an inclusive education centre for children with disabilities was opened in Bratsk. In September, Transneft’s corporate programme for the development of school education was completed in the regions.
Currently, Transneft East is implementing a project to provide educational institutions with chess and robotics equipment.
