Transneft East Sums Up Results of 1st Round of 3rd (15th) International Transneft Youth Science and Technology Conference

Transneft East has summed up the 1st round of the 3rd International Youth Science and Technology Conference of Transneft and member organisations of the International Association of Oil Transporters.

The contest was attended by 45 young specialists, who presented 39 works in 7 sections (including 6 complex works), namely employees of the Company’s executive office, the Irkutsk, Lensk and Neryungri branches.

In the Design and Operation, Overhaul Technology of Oil Trunk Pipelines section, first place was claimed by the Alternative Method of Tank Walls Exterior Surface Washing work by Arthur Malkov, Senior Specialist of the Mechanical and Technological Equipment Maintenance Section of the Skovorodino OPS-21.

Engineer of the Information Technology Section of the Executive Office Victoria Chupina and engineer of the process pumps (on duty) of OPS-13 Aleksey Yermin with the Development of Programme for Calculating and Processing Results of Efficiency Measurements at BPU and MPU work became the best in the Mechanical and Power Equipment, Corrosion Protection section.

Engineer of the Software and Hardware Support Section of the executive office Aleksander Churkin became the winner of the Automated Plant Control Systems; Communications section with the Monitoring the Condition of the Software and Hardware Complex of Automated Process Control Systems work.

Engineer for the organisation and regulation of labour and wages of the executive office Yana Vasilishina and engineer for the Information Technology Section of the executive office Victoria Chupina were the leaders in the Economics, Management and Legal Issues section with the work on the Automated Development of Sections Regulations, Job and Operational Instructions topic.

 In the New Approach Analytical and Theoretical Projects for Innovative Development of the Company's Activities, Technologies, Industrial and Business Processes section 7, one of the most difficult and relevant areas of the contest, Anton Ivanov, an Information Security Service specialist, presented his innovative Creation of Isolated Platform for Dynamic Analysis of Malicious Files work which won the contest.

The winners will take part in the 2nd round of the conference, which will be held in February-March 2020.
