Transneft East Provides Charitable Assistance to Flood-Affected Schools in Irkutsk Region

Transneft East has provided charitable assistance to three schools that were severely damaged during flood in Irkutsk Region.

As part of a charity programme, the Company funded the purchase of equipment for a catering facility at Nizhneudinsk school No. 10. Machines and tools for arts and crafts workshops were purchased for secondary school No. 2.

Technological equipment for an arts and crafts classroom, materials and furniture for a medical office, a speech therapy table and an outdoor sports complex were purchased for Tulun secondary school No. 6. 

In total, the Company has allocated RUB 6 million for providing assistance to educational institutions. Currently, the equipment has been supplied to schools.

Since October 2019, Transneft East has been implementing socially significant project for the construction of 10 rural health posts as part of the assistance to the territories affected by floods in Irkutsk Region programme.

 By the end of 2019, facilities in Burkhun Village of Tulunsky District, Zentsova and Ukar Villages of Nizhneudinsky District, and Biryusa Village of Tayshetsky District will be primarily commissioned.  The construction of another 6 health posts will be conducted in spring. The project implementation is scheduled for August 2020.
