Transneft East Completes Planned Repairs at Trunk Pipelines

Transneft East has completed scheduled repairs of the Eastern Siberia – Pacific Ocean OTP (ESPO-I) in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), the Skovorodino – Mohe OTP in Amur Region and sections of the Omsk – Irkutsk and Krasnoyarsk – Irkutsk oil trunk pipelines in Irkutsk Region.

Midlife repairs of stop valve units were carried out, and some equipment was replaced. According to in-line inspection results, pipeline defects were eliminated by replacing the relevant sections.

The scheduled repairs were carried out in accordance with the annual plan of oil trunk pipelines shutdowns. The corridor shutdown time was 72 hours. The goal was to ensure uninterrupted oil supply via Transneft East’s pipelines. More than 280 people took part in the works, over 100 units of special-purpose vehicles were used. 

The repairs were completed to the full extent and in time. Oil transportation was resumed as scheduled and in full.
