Transneft East has supported repairs of schools in Irkutsk and Amur Regions as part of Transneft’s corporate charitable programme.
Programme’s goal is to improve the social infrastructure of Far Eastern Federal District regions, where company's business units are located.
At the school of Yantal Settlement of Nizhneilimsky District of Irkutsk Region, engineering systems were revamped, sports hall, changing and coaching rooms were renovated, sports equipment was purchased and the lighting system was repaired. More than RUB 9 million were allocated for these purposes. In addition, RUB 16 million were allocated to repair school No. 3 in Zheleznogorsk-Ilimsky town and construct modular bathrooms in Zamzor and Karymsk settlements.
In Gymnasium No. 2 in Tynda, Amur Region, a sports hall for primary school pupils was renovated and equipped, bathrooms were overhauled. Sports and assembly halls, a catering unit, a dining room, as well as entry elements were renovated at the boarding school of Dzhalinda settlement. A total of RUB 19.3 million were spent for these purposes under the programme.
Repairs in all educational institutions were completed by the beginning of the new school year. On September 1, celebratory assemblies were held in schools.
Medical institutions also receive assistance as part of the corporate charitable programme for the social infrastructure development of the Far Eastern region. In the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), almost 30 doctors' offices and a number of other premises in the Olekminsk central regional hospital were repaired; the functional diagnostics, surgery and cardiology division of the Olekminsk central regional hospital is being equipped with medical equipment. RUB 29.5 million were allocated for these purposes under the programme. In Amur Region, the Dzhalinda district hospital is being repaired; medical equipment was purchased for the functional diagnostics division of the Skovodinsky regional hospital; a new fence will be installed around the building. The amount of allocated funds is RUB 21.6 million.
In 2020, the total amount of funding as part of the corporate charitable programme implementation in the area of responsibility of Transneft East will exceed RUB 96 million.
